(1) There are no known side-effects to hypnosis. The Smokefreedom program has an national rate of 84% success. However we offer a full year of follow-up visits for free if needed (to End your Smoking problems only). Click here for known side effects for smoking cigarettes, bidis and other stop smoking products, other then the list below.
(2) The Herbs I went to different sites on the net and picked 3 sites at random and checked their times and prices. I could not find anything on effectiveness or side effects. But will continue to look.
(3) Cost of the Patch (
known side-effects) per box length of program is 6 weeks. Price is $49.95 for 2 weeks worth of patches for a total of $149.85 (price does NOT include tax). Remember that only some people will experience side effects--and that no one experiences side effects in exactly the same way. If you experience any side effects, contact your doctor or clinician right away and continue taking your medication. The following list may not contain all of the side effects associated with this medication: Skin Irritation, The rash generally has one of two causes; a reaction to the adhesive on the patch, or a reaction to the nicotine. Sleep Disturbance Sleep disturbance almost always occurs in people who use the 24-hour patch. Since your mind is unaccustomed to receiving nicotine while asleep, it can cause strange effects. While using the 16-hour patch can avoid this problem, it often leaves the user craving a cigarette when they wake in the morning. Pregnant smokers should first be encouraged to attempt cessation without pharmacologic treatment. The nicotine patch should be used during pregnancy only if the increased likelihood of smoking cessation, with its potential benefits, outweighs the risk of nicotine replacement and potential concomitant smoking. Similar factors should be considered in lactating women. Cardiovascular diseases -- Although not an independent risk factor for acute myocardial events, the nicotine patch should be used only after consideration of risks and benefits among particular cardiovascular patient groups: those in the immediate (within 4 weeks) postmyocardial infarction period, those with serious arrhythmias, and those with severe or worsening angina pectoris. Skin reactions -- Up to 50% of patients using the nicotine patch will have a local skin reaction. Skin reactions are usually mild and self-limiting, but may worsen over the course of therapy. Local treatment with hydrocortisone cream (5%) or triamcinolone cream (.5%) and rotating patch sites may ameliorate such local reactions. In less than 5% of patients do such reactions require the discontinuation of nicotine patch treatment. You start taking the Stop Smoking Pill, (known side-effects) set a quit date, and continue to smoke for up to 2 weeks. Most people should take the pills for 7 to 12 weeks. One pill 2 times a day can help you break free from smoking. (price does NOT include tax). Common side effect weight loss, insomnia, nervousness, Diminished appetite, Sleeplessness, Agitation, Dry mouth, Headache, Nausea, Skin problems, Tremor Infrequent side effects agitation, constipation, dry mouth, headache, nausea, skin problems, tremors, excessive sweating Rare side effects/Risks hypomania, seizures, tinnitus, white blood cell decrease. Nicotine Spray's cost is based on 1-5 doses an hour 40 doses, max a day use 12-14 weeks. Cost ranges from $5.00 for 13 doses or $15.00 for 40 doses (does not include sales tax). The most common side effects from the nasal spray are irritation of the nose and throat, watering eyes, sneezing and cough. These side effects are usually short-lived and are tolerated after the first week of use. As always, you should seek the advice of a doctor to determine whether this product is appropriate for you. Users should be aware that the dependency potential is greater with the nicotine nasal spray than with nicotine gum or the nicotine patch.(6) The Nicotine Inhaler's price is based on 45 cartridges, costing $42.00. 6-16 cartridges a day for 18 weeks to 6 months. (Price does not include sales tax) About 40% of users experience mouth and throat irritation. Symptoms usually diminish with regular use. Some people experience upset stomachs with use of the inhaler.
(7) Cost of Gum (
known side-effects) (Per the box length of program is 12 weeks. Price is $59.95 for a box of 108 pieces of gum (price does NOT include tax). Common side effects of nicotine chewing gum include mouth soreness, hiccups, dyspepsia, and jaw ache. These effects are generally mild and transient, and can often be alleviated by correcting the patient's chewing technique. Pregnancy -- Pregnant smokers should first be encouraged to attempt cessation without pharmacologic treatment. Nicotine gum should be used during pregnancy only if the increased likelihood of smoking cessation, with its potential benefits, outweighs the risk of nicotine replacement and potential concomitant smoking. Cardiovascular diseases -- Although not an independent risk factor for acute myocardial events, nicotine gum should be used only after consideration of risks and benefits among particular cardiovascular patient groups: those in the immediate (within 4 weeks) postmyocardial infarction period, those with serious arrhythmias, and those with serious or worsening angina pectoris.(8) I looked up a couple of Clinics on line, Outpatient Clinic is 3.33 hours per week at $15.00 an hr with a 50 week program
